Olympic eSports series (Winter, Summer, e)
The organization behind the Olympic Games have been dabbling their toes in the eSports world since 02007. Only recently they've gotten serious enough to form a proper event.
This 'elympics' would be held annually in a host city and be a mix of traditional video games and interactive games mimicking existing Olympic events, like virtual bike races where you ride a physical bike which controls your virtual avatar.
As with early the Olympics (where some events you participated by sports club, not by country), it will take time to work out the kinks.
